Leapkids is a family owned and operated business. We pride ourselves on creating caring and supportive learning environments that recognise the importance of family and belonging for young children.

At Leapkids, we’re passionate about building strong and healthy communities.  Children are at the heart of all our programming and practice with activities developed and implemented based on the children’s interest.

Leapkids is managed by Mr Ali Kassem. Ali is driven by his passion for building healthy communities and empowering people in need.  He has a strong background in education, community services and philanthropy.  He holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Melbourne and taught grades prep to six in a newly established and culturally diverse Melbourne primary school for several years.

At Leapkids, we believe that play is paramount to children’s overall development and happiness. We also believe that all children deserve quality Outside Hours School Care regardless of their social or economic background.

Our programs and activities are developed with the best interests of children at heart. Each of our activities is carefully designed to foster positive attitudes in children and encourage confidence and self-esteem.

Our approach is personal, sincere and engaging. We deliver high standards of care and ensure that our care environments are warm, engaging and pleasant for everyone involved.

At Leapkids we envision a world where all families can access safe, inclusive and affordable outside school hours care for their children.

We are an approved and registered Australian child care provider. Eligible parents may utilise the Federal Government’s Child Care Benefit and/or Child Care Rebate schemes for our services.

Leapkids operates in accordance with the Seven Quality Areas of the Children’s Services National Standards. We also comply with the guiding principles of the National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
